The educational institution was founded in 1971. Initially, training was conducted for slingers, drillers, operators of underground electric locomotives, explosives for the Tekeli mining and processing plant. Both the status of the educational institution and the content of educational services have repeatedly changed. In more than 40 years, about 7000 workers have been trained.
In February 2017, the educational institution passed certification and was certified by the order of the Education Department of the Almaty region No. 32 dated February 2, 2017.
The college is the winner of the regional competition "The best educational institution of TVE 2012".
